Baptism

Baptisms are usually celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10.30am. For other requests, the Baptisms are celebrated during the normal Sunday Mass.

Here in St Anthony's, our Baptism Progam involves the family being presented to the Parish Community at one of the Sunday Eucharists on the week preceeding the Baptism. This requirement is in place because it places the Baptism within the context of initiation into the Christian Community.

We would request at least one month notification of Baptism in order to ensure adequate preparation of the family.

Please call Madeleine Pizutti on 9888 5222 to arrange an appointment and to determine availability of times for your child's Baptism. Please hit the LINK, complete the application form before sending the information into the Parish Office.

Sacramental Preparation: Reconciliation/Eucharist/Confirmation

The Programs for these Sacraments are conducted annually and involve the active participation of the family.

Please contact Madeleine Pizzuti for more information.

R.C.I.A.  -  Adult Initiation

This is a program by which adults are able to become members of the Catholic Community. The usual starting date for this is around August and the preparation, depending upon the Candidate, culminates in the reception of the Sacraments of Baptsim, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.

Please contact Madeleine Pizzuti for more information.

Celebrating Marriage

We welcome any engaged couple wanting to celebrate their wedding here at St Anthony's. We would encourage these couples to contact the Parish Office as soon as possible to make a booking. The Celebrant would then assist the couple prepare for this most important time in their lives.

We would request at least six months notification in order to ensure adequate preparation of the couple.

Please hit the LINK, complete the application form and contact the Parish Office.

Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is available on request and on the first Friday of every month (except when there is a clash with School Masses.) Please see "the Good Oil" for these times.

We would suggest that when parishioners know they are to enter hospital that they call Fr. Brian on 9888 5222 to arrange a visit for anointing prior to admission. This would apply also when loved ones deteriorate at home or in care.
