Fr Glenn Humphries January 1998 - June 1991 Father Glenn has very special qualities of genuine caring for those in difficulties. He was of great assistance to Fr. Murray in the AIDS apostolate and was involved in helping prisoners. Glenn's major project was the refurbishing of the old church. It had been used as classrooms and then converted to a hall. With the help of the architect, Peter Godhard, who drew up the plans, Glenn led the parishioners in the plumbing, painting, polishing and sanding. The new hall was opened in late 1991 with a dinner and concert. It is used for various Parish functions and rented out to local groups. Fr. Humphreys' deep spirituality is missed by many. He was at his best in small groups and gave of his best to our Parish.
