Sacramental Events

BAPTISM

A meeting with the Baptismal Leader must be arranged before the Baptism. This occurs at the Pastoral Centre on the Monday evening prior to the first Sunday of the month. The Sacrament of Baptism is performed on the first Sunday of the month.

FIRST RECONCILIATION

This occurs in either October or November in the year before receiving one's First Eucharist. Advertisement is via the school and the Good Oil. Co-ordinators are Maria Buda and Cathy Moylan.

FIRST EUCHARIST

This has a preparation course of six weeks and usually occurs at the end of May. Applications usually close by the end of February and is advertised through the school and the Good Oil. Co-ordinator is Maria Buda.

CONFIRMATION

This has a preparation course of six weeks and usually occurs at the end of May with the Sacrament of Confirmation being conferred in June. Co-ordinator is Cathy Moylan.

CATECHUMENATE (RCIA)

The St Anthony's faith inquiry group comes together on Tuesday evenings at the Pastoral Centre late August or early September. The Catechumenate programme commences in November and culminates at the Easter Vigil the following year. Co-ordinator is Bev Smith.
